Mr. Rohleder is the Chairman and CEO of TREI, which through its affiliate companies, TRLP and Thunderbird LNG, have oil and gas assets in Texas, North Dakota, Wyoming and Mississippi. Prior to the formation of TREI, Mr. Rohleder served as the President and Director of GMXR, an exploration and production company based in Oklahoma City, OK and our Predecessor. He joined GMXR in January 2008 serving as Executive Vice President of Business Development and was promoted to President and Director in June 2009. Prior to joining GMXR, Mr. Rohleder was the Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing for ON Semiconductor a $1.5 billion semiconductor manufacturing company. ON Semiconductor was formerly the Motorola Semiconductor Component manufacturing division headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona. Mr. Rohleder joined the company in 1999 and was responsible for all sales and marketing leading a team of over 1000 sales engineers in technology markets throughout the world. Mr. Rohleder was the CEO of VEBA Electronics North America, a wholly owned subsidiary of VEBA AG from 1991 until 1999. During the eight years of his leadership, the North American division grew from five locations and $18MM in revenue to over 70 locations including offices in Canada, Mexico and South America, with revenues in excess of $2.5 billion per year. The growth was both organic and through the acquisition of Wyle Electronics, the sixth largest electronics distributor in the world, with over $1 billion in sales. Prior to joining VEBA, Mr. Rohleder was the Vice President of Western Micro Technology a wholesale distributor of semiconductor components based in Cupertino, California. Mr. Rohleder attended the University of Tulsa and subsequently joined the US Air Force serving four years as a computer programmer in Sunnyvale, CA. Mr. Rohleder has over 30 years of experience in corporate leadership and business development in the energy and technology industries. He has been responsible for over $2.5 billion of capital markets activities including initial public offerings, acquisitions, equity, high yield debt, and debt restructuring transactions.
Jason New is a Senior Managing Director of The Blackstone Group and Head of Special Situation Investing for GSO Capital Partners. Mr. New focuses on managing GSO's public investment portfolio with a specific emphasis on stressed and distressed companies and on sourcing direct special situation investment opportunities. Mr. New is a member of the GSO Investment Committee. Before joining GSO Capital in 2005, Mr. New was a senior member of Credit Suisse's distressed finance group. Mr. New joined Credit Suisse in 2000 when it acquired Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (“DLJ”), where he was a member of DLJ's restructuring group. Prior to joining DLJ in 1999, he was an associate with the law firm Sidley Austin LLP where he practiced law in the firm's corporate reorganization group. Mr. New received a JD from Duke University School of Law and a BA, magna cum laude, from Allegheny College. Mr. New is on the board of Momentive Performance Materials.
Mr. Bankert is a Senior Research Analyst at Chatham Asset Management, focused on Chatham’s investments in the energy, utilities and other commodity-based sectors. Mr. Bankert has 16 years of experience as a high yield, investment grade and commercial banking analyst focused exclusively on commodity-related industries and markets. Prior to joining Chatham in 2008, Mr. Bankert was a Senior Vice President and high yield securities analyst at KBC Financial Products and an Assistant Vice President and high yield securities analyst at Merrill Lynch. Mr. Bankert earned an M.B.A. in Finance from Penn State University in 1997 and a B.S. in Mathematics from Bucknell University in 1995.
J. David Lucke is the Chief Financial Officer of Tri-Point. Mr. Lucke has more than 20 years of experience in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions. Prior to co-founding Tri-Point, Mr. Lucke worked in energy investment banking, including KeyBanc, Jefferies, ABN AMRO, Prudential Securities, and Lehman Brothers. Mr. Lucke also served as Chief Financial Officer of two independent exploration and production companies, Aurora Oil & Gas and Sabco Oil & Gas. In addition, Mr. Lucke worked for Coopers & Lybrand and is a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Lucke received an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin and a BA from Duke University.
Mr. Colonnetta has 20 years of experience in the private equity industry as both an operator and investor, including substantial experience in identifying and acquiring a wide variety of businesses. From 1998 to August 2011, Mr. Colonnetta was employed by Hicks, Muse, Tate & Furst (renamed HM Capital Partners in 2006), a nationally prominent private equity firm in the United States that specialized in leveraged acquisitions, and served as a partner beginning in 2003. While at Hicks Muse/HM Capital, Mr. Colonnetta was active in sourcing, executing, overseeing and/or exiting numerous transactions, valued in excess of $2.5 billion. Beginning in 2004, Mr. Colonnetta was primarily responsible for Hicks Muse/HM Capital’s investments in the energy industry and secondarily in the firm’s consumer industries. He served on the firm’s Investment Committee, which was responsible for all investment decisions of the firm. Mr. Colonnetta formerly served as Chairman of the board of directors of the following energy companies: Regency Energy Partners (NYSE:RGP), a midstream MLP operating throughout the United States; Black Brush Oil & Gas, L.P., an upstream exploration and development company operating in the South Texas Eagle Ford Shale; and TexStar Midstream Services, L.P., a midstream pipeline and services company operating throughout South Texas. He currently serves on the board of Dale Bakken Partners which is the General Partner of an $80 million Oil Working Interest Fund investing in the Bakken Oil Shale in North Dakota. Additionally, he serves as a Trustee on the Texas College Tuition Investment Board and the Teacher Retirement System of Texas, a $100 billion investment fund benefiting the school teachers in the State of Texas. Mr. Colonnetta graduated from the University of Houston in 1985.
Andreas Rydholm is the Chief Accounting Officer and Secretary of the Board of Directors for Thunderbird Resources. Mr. Rydholm previously served as the Controller for Thunderbird Resources. Mr. Rydholm joined GMXR, an exploration and production company and the predecessor to TRLP, in September 2008 serving as a Senior Financial Analyst. Prior to joining GMXR, Mr. Rydholm worked as an auditor for Ernst & Young, primarily focused in the energy sector. Additionally, Mr. Rydholm is a Certified Public Accountant and he received a Master of Science in Accounting from Oklahoma City University, graduating with High Honors in 2005.
Brian Pollman is the Director of Operations for Thunderbird Resources, focused on the management of the company’s energy assets. Mr. Pollman has more than 20 years of experience in the energy and technology industries. Mr. Pollman previously held the role of Director of Information Technology for Thunderbird Resources and its predecessor company, GMXR, an oil and gas exploration and production company. Prior to joining GMXR in 2011, Mr. Pollman spent thirteen years with the Oklahoma State Supreme Court, ascending to the position of Chief Technology Officer, leading the design, implementation, and support efforts of Oklahoma’s state wide judicial systems. Mr. Pollman earned a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2002.
